Accessing / Editing District Settings

  • Active District Manager privileges will allow SRS users to edit district information and settings.
  • Go to the Districts tab and select District List.
  • Search for your district
  • Click on the blue link
  • Under the name of your district is a link to Edit District Information



Settings and information are organized into different tabs

  • Basic District Information and Administration
  • Assign the primary District Manager
  • Assign Account Supervisor
  • Assign personnel to receive notifications of Email transfers
  • Address, City, State, ZIP, Building Phone Number

District Settings
  • The date school begins
  • The date school ends 
  • Developmental Delay Cutoff Age
  • Resource 1
  • Resource 2

IEP Summary

  • Settings for what is included in the IEP Summary

Import Data or Export to ADVISER

  • Check the box if your district imports student information from the district's Student Information System to SRS
  • Check the box if your district publishes SPED data to ADVISER through SRS
  • IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT SPED DATA IS PUBLISHING TO ADVISER FROM ONLY ONE PLACE - THIS MEANS IT MUST PUBLISH FROM SRS OR THE DISTRICT SIS BUT NEVER BOTH

Optional Features

  • Optional features can be activated here
  • Many optional features do not work because they are remnants of the old SRS
Notable optional features are
  • Allow Associate District Managers to unfinalize forms
  • Add Prior Written Notice (PWN) to the IEP on page 7
  • Accommodations checklist
