Privileges/Roles

SRS users are given different levels of access based on the privileges/roles granted to them.  

Each role has different levels of privileges associated with them.  The hierarchy of roles is as follows from the highest power to the lowest

  • District Manager

    • Full access to students in the district
      • Make changes to Edit Student page
      • Edit, View, and Create forms
      • Can be assigned as case manager
      • Ability to Unfinalize forms
    • Access and edit District Settings
      • Edit District Information
      • Assign Account Supervisor for district
      • Assign individual to receive emails about transfer notifications
      • Control optional district features
      • Set district wide progress report dates
    • Access and edit School Inormation of district
      • Assign Account Supervisor for school
      • Set individual progress report dates for school
      • Set minutes per week
    • Access and edit ADVISER reports

    • Do not grant District Managers any other privileges within the district they manage except for Service Coordinator


  • Associate District Manager

    • Has all District Manager privileges except
      • Unfinalize forms - Associate District Managers can only unfinalize forms if the optional feature is turned on in the District Settings
      • Edit District Settings

  • School Manager

    • Full access to students in the school
      • Make changes to Edit Student page
      • Edit, View, and Create forms
      • Can be assigned as case manager
    • Access and edit School Inormation of district
      • Assign Account Supervisor for school
      • Set individual progress report dates for school
      • Set minutes per week

  • Associate School Manager

    • Powers of an Associate School Manager are the same - the only difference is in title
    • Please send in a help desk ticket detailing any operational differences noticed between Associate School Manager and School Manager

  • Case Manager

    • Can only be assigned to students where case manager privileges at specific schools are granted
    • Case Managers can change the Edit Student page of students assigned to them as case manager
    • Can add and remove personnel from their assigned students' teams
    • View, Edit, and Create forms

  • School Staff/Teacher

    • Can only be added to a student's team
    • Can be selected to only view, edit, or create forms
      • Some or all 3 of these abilities can be granted to them

  • Specialist/Consultant

    • Typically reserved for Speech Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and other service providers
    • Privileges identical to School Staff/Teachers
    • Please send in a help desk ticket detailing any operational differences noticed between Specialist/Consultant and School Staff/Teacher

  • Service Coordinator

    • Personnel MUST have this role granted in order to be selected a Service Coordinator and Early Intervention Case Manager for Part C students
    • Only applicable to elementary schools and early childhood centers
      • No personnel should ever need to be a Service Coordinator at a middle school or high school
