ADVISER errors will need to have the reports edited under the current school year. You can use override data to do this using the link.
Error 400 means an outdated/unaccepted Data Element has been reported for the student. At the beginning of the school year, and during the school year when a student moves from one district to another, the SIS system will want to send the School Enrollment record. If the School Enrollment insert fails, this would mean that the student does not currently exist in the district. This will need to be edited in the current record.
A recent change is the Exit Reason SPED20 which is no longer a valid SPED Exit Reason can be a cause in some cases.
Occasionally the 400 error will trigger because of a data entry error in a student's MDT for the student's Initial Entry into Special Education date. Use the data override and make sure the Initial Entry into Special Education date is correct.
Very occasionally data entry errors will be made on the MDT where the date is pulled and the numbers get flipped like the year will be 0215 when it should be 2015.
The SPED setting codes from NDE can be found under the ADVISER Data Guidance and the ADVISER Data Elements.
