ADVISER 459 error - Placement Type/Setting Code

ADVISER errors will need to have the reports edited under the current school year.  You can use override data to do this using the link.

Special Education Placement Type/Setting Code Invalid

If Placement Type equals “2”, “3”, or “4” (Nonpublic Placement)

then for students age 6 to 21 the Educational Setting must equal

• “5” (Separate School)
• “7” (Residential Facility)
• “14” (Private School or Exempt (Home) School)

For students age 3 to 5

• all Settings apply except “8” (Home).

The student's age is figured as of their SPED exit date (if available), or as of the last day of school (if the student is not confirmed to be receiving services during the summer), or otherwise as of today's date.
