Critical Errors

• 154 – District of Residence Cannot Be the Same as the Reporting District for Contracting In Students or Optioning In Students
• 260 – Student Is Not Considered in Early Childhood
• 276 – Special Education Invalid Begin Date
• 280 – Special Education End Date Missing
• 281 – Special Education Reason Exited Missing
• 283 – Special Education Reason Exited Not Valid
• 284 – Special Education Reason Exited Not Valid
• 286 – Special Education Setting Code Invalid for Part B at Beginning of School Year
• 306 – The Grade Reported For a Student Is Outside the Grade Range of the Reporting School

NDE Course Codes and Clearing Endorsements

Student ID's are found in the NDE Portal under a collection called ADVISER Person ID. There are specific persons in the district with access usually the Superintendent.

If you have questions about whether an ID is valid or which one should be kept, your district can open the portal and go to the ADVISER Person ID collection. All valid IDs are listed within.
