Here is how to format tables so that cell borders appear.
1. Click on the table. A taskbar will appear with various buttons allowing you to format the table.
2. Click in the box to get the flashing cursor to type.
3. Click on the three dots outlined with the green box to see the table properties.
4.Click on the table icon outlined in blue.
5.Click on the table link highlighted in blue.
6.Click on the table arrow to select the number of rows and columns for the table.
7.Highlight the number of rows and columns to add.
8.The table will be added.
9.To add the lines, you will need to click the table properties.Highlight the table.
10.Click table properties.Highlighted in black.
11.Two property option windows:General and Advanced. These will be pre-populated when you create the table.
12. Cell properties-Click on the cell arrow and choose properties for the general and advanced windows.
